What does the business profile control?
A business in Reputr represents one brand, branch, or operating unit that collects reviews. It owns the public review page, QR code URLs, poster assets, dashboard settings, and review history.
The profile also stores the public-facing identity customers see when they scan a QR code, including the business name, category, slug, and review destination.
- Create a separate business whenever a branch or operating unit needs its own reviews and analytics.
- Use a clear slug because it becomes part of the review page URL.
- Keep the destination link current so customers at or above your threshold land in the right place.
How do I set up the first business?
- 1
Open the dashboard and choose Add Business or complete onboarding.
- 2
Enter the business name, category, slug, website or contact details, and public review destination.
- 3
Save the business, then open its dashboard to confirm the review page, QR codes, and customization settings.
- 4
Before printing QR assets, test the review page URL on mobile and desktop.
What improves after the profile is correct?
Accurate business setup keeps the customer journey consistent from scan to review. It also prevents operational confusion when you manage more than one business.
Small moves that make this feature work better
- Pick a short slug that staff can say out loud if needed.
- Use the exact business name customers already know from signage or receipts.
- Review the profile after any rebrand, move, or review destination change.
